Always been reluctant to trying new things, but I finally cracked and decided that this will be the year of new experiences. Why this year? Well thats a question I've been asking myself, so I guess I will get back to you once I have figured that out. Starting off my new adventures, I finally tried oysters last christmas, and since then I've wondered where these slurpy creatures have been all my life! Oysters... betcha can't eat just one! Realizing what I've been missing out on all this time... of course I would make my way over to Biff's Bistro and order 6 dozen oysters. They probably weren't the best oysters but it definitely was decent enough to satisfy my new craving. Along with trying new foods I've decided to start experimenting in the kitchen and testing my culinary skills. The main reason being I've realized how hard it is to eat good food AND be healthy, so what better way to be healthy than to make the food yourself? But after my recent experiment with the seafood paella, I realized why I dont cook... it is such a long - and sometimes painful - process. Hopefully the meal I have planned next will be a little less hectic.

Innate behaviour to surround ourselves with familiar faces, activities and places. But then we come to realize how much the world has to offer. Sometimes we just got welcome the world with open arms.
